Why I Eat the Same Thing Every Day
People ask me all the time, “Why do you eat the same thing every day?”
They think it’s boring...they think I’m missing out on variety... they can’t understand why I’d limit myself to the same foods day after day.
But here’s the truth: I’m not eating for pleasure.
I’m eating for performance. For discipline. For focus.
Every meal is a calculated move to fuel my body with the best nutrients, keep my energy steady, and eliminate distractions.
To put it simply, it just works.
So if you think you have the discipline to get on my level with your eating, listen up because this is what I eat and how I do it consistently.
Consistency Doesn’t Mean Constriction
Eating the same thing every day might sound restrictive to some, but for me, it’s the most efficient, reliable approach.
Here’s why.
Most people spend way too much time thinking about food.
Deciding what to eat...wondering if they should try something new.
They don’t realize all those choices wear down their willpower.
And this drain on mental energy? It’s called “decision fatigue.”
Every decision you make, no matter how small, takes up space.
And when you’re focused on big goals, you don’t have time for that kind of distraction.
That’s why I eat the same thing every day: my diet is set, my mind is clear, and my focus stays where it needs to be.
The Meal Plan That Gets It Done
So, what’s on the menu?
It’s a high protein, keto based plan.
I don’t mess around with carbs or junk...just lean, clean fuel for my body and mind.
Here’s what it looks like:
1. First Meal: Sardines
Most people wouldn’t start the day with sardines, but I’m not here to please my taste buds, I’m here to fuel my body. I crack open two cans of sardines every morning, loaded with protein, omega-3s, and essential nutrients.
Omega-3s are known to reduce inflammation, improve mental clarity, and support heart health. Sardines pack a nutrient punch in a tiny package, setting the tone for my day.
2. Quest Protein Shakes Throughout the Day
Throughout the day, I keep my protein intake steady with 2-5 Quest protein shakes. They’re convenient, effective, and ensure I hit my protein targets without getting weighed down by heavy meals.
Each shake gives me the quick protein hit I need to support muscle recovery, keep energy steady, and stay focused.
I don’t like to waste time with a full meal in the middle of the day, it slows me down. These shakes give me the nutrients I need while keeping my body light and my mind sharp.
3. Snack: Mozzarella Cheese Sticks and Beef Jerky
When I need a snack, I go for mozzarella cheese sticks or beef jerky, 3-6 sticks of cheese and high-protein beef jerky, depending on the day.
Both are loaded with protein and fat, perfect for the high-protein keto approach I follow.
These aren’t “snacks” in the casual sense; they’re functional foods. The mozzarella provides fat and protein, while the beef jerky gives me more protein in a simple, low-carb form.
Plus they’re just so damn easy and convenient to eat. I even keep one in my pocket at all times.
4. Fasting Until Afternoon
Some days, I won’t eat anything until 1 or 2 PM. Intermittent fasting is a tool, not a rule. Fasting helps me stay mentally sharp, reduces inflammation, and keeps me from feeling sluggish. Science backs this up, fasting has been shown to improve focus, support weight management, and even help with longevity.
I don’t make it complicated. If I feel like fasting, I fast. If my body needs fuel, I fuel it. I listen, adapt, and adjust as needed.
5. Dinner: Ribeye Steak or Another Cut of Meat
I finish the day with a massive meal. Usually, it’s a ribeye steak, but I’ll mix it up with other cuts of meat.
This meal is where I get the bulk of my calories and protein.
Ribeye is loaded with protein, healthy fats, and essential nutrients like iron, which keeps my body fueled for muscle repair and energy production.
It can also be something like burgers without the bun, a whole plate of healthy baked chicken wings, or other protein without carbs.
This final meal is crucial, it’s the anchor of my day. It’s when I replenish, restore, and prepare for whatever tomorrow brings.
Why Simplicity Is Key
Here’s the truth: I don’t want excitement in my food. I want control.
Control over my energy. Control over my performance. Control over my discipline.
By eating the same high-protein, keto-based foods every day, I know exactly what I’m putting into my body. No surprises, no distractions. Just predictable, powerful fuel.

When you eat the same thing every day, you start to understand how food really impacts your body.
You’re not guessing...you know what works.
And the simplicity of it all creates a structure that enhances every part of your life.
The Benefits of a Consistent Diet
1. Mental Clarity
Every meal that I don’t have to think about frees up mental energy for other things. With my diet on autopilot, I’m sharper, more focused, and ready to tackle whatever the day brings.
2. Enhanced Recovery
Consistency in diet means my body has a reliable fuel source. The high-protein, high-fat meals give me exactly what I need for muscle repair, strength gains, and steady energy.
3. Improved Performance
A steady keto diet keeps my energy levels consistent. No carb crashes. No post-meal sluggishness. Just clean, even energy for every workout, every task, and every challenge.
4. Discipline in Action
Sticking to this plan builds a level of discipline most people never touch. It trains my mind to focus on the goal, not the distractions. My body gets what it needs, and I get one step closer to my potential.
Most people think they need variety to enjoy their diet...but if you’re serious about reaching your goals, variety is an excuse.
The BMM Takeaway
If you’re reading this thinking, “I could never eat the same thing every day,” here’s a challenge.
Try it for one week. Make a plan, stick to it, and see what happens.
You’ll spend less time wondering about food and more time focused on your goals.
You’ll know exactly what you’re putting into your body, and you’ll start to see real results.
AND you’ll prove to yourself that you can stick to a plan, even when it’s not exciting.
You don’t have to follow my exact plan. But pick something simple, something that works, and commit to it.
Because in the end, growth isn’t about constant variety. It’s about choosing the path that leads to results.
