DaBaby Officially Quits Drinking After This Happens

Rapper DaBaby has called it quits with alcohol after a pretty embarrassing moment in front of his daughter.
In his recent video he made a statement to his fans: "It's official, bruh. I don't drink no more. If you want to fight, offer me a drink"
And I fully support it.
Because letting your daughter see you throwing up on the side of the highway as she says “good job” isn’t setting a good example for her, that’s for sure.
I also made the decision to quit drinking a while back to set the right example for my 5 year old son.
And I haven’t looked back ever since.
Plus, ever since I stopped drinking, everything in my life began to improve.
Besides the obvious health benefits, I also found myself no longer needing the alcohol to have a good time. I became more mindful of all the good in front of me and realized alcohol was blurring it out.
And I’m not the only one who’s catching on. Over 28% of college students claim they’re quitting alcohol entirely too.
It makes sense. The stuff is literally poison that just dulls your senses and makes you dumb. And when it comes to money, I don’t like doing dumb stuff.
I don't mean getting drunk and impulse buying a bunch of useless crap. I mean letting alcohol take over your schedule, your mood, and your drive.
Because I’m not talking about alcoholics. I wasn’t one. I was just a social drinker, probably like you. It’s not the occasional beer that puts you into a cycle, it’s the alcohol reward system you set for yourself that screws you over.
Just look at Sam, a 24-year-old communications worker based in Washington, D.C. who gave up drinking recently.
He was not a frequent drinker at first, but he found himself falling into a dangerous pattern of working intensely during the week, and then going out to drink with friends on the weekend.
“There was no moment for body and mind to rest,” he said. So he chose to stop drinking and spend more time resting and recharging over the weekend.
Now, you know me and how I keep my calendar TIGHT, monetizing every minute of my day and trying to constantly optimize, and drinking just doesn’t fit in.
If I end up hungover AF on a Sunday, I might fall behind on work I need to get done by Monday. Maybe I have live masterclass to host in the morning, and I’m not on my A-game because I decided to drink.
Other Celebrities Who Decided To Quit Drinking (And Why)
DaBaby isn't the only celebrity who has chosen to embrace sobriety.
Several other rappers and well-known figures have made the same decision, paving the way for a more open and honest conversation about addiction and recovery:
Eminem battled addiction for years, and has since became a vocal advocate for sobriety, sharing his struggles and triumphs through his music and interviews.
Music became Eminem's raw canvas, capturing the pain and desperation of his addiction journey.
I’m sure you’ve heard "Cleanin' Out My Closet" or "Stan", which are both about battling his demons.
Or look at Russell Brand, who really is just like the characters he plays in the movies.
He’s maintained sobriety since 2002 and as a result has significantly more time to focus on his career and various charity efforts aimed at helping others get sober too.
Because there’s just SO much you can do when you don’t have any kind of vice taking up all of your time.
The BMM Takeaway
Is DaBaby for real? Who knows. He may just be waking up the day after with crazy ass hangover and is “swearing” to never drink again. But we’ve all done that before.
I’m hoping he is being serious though, because only good things can happen from quitting drinking.
Sure, having a couple drinks here and there is fun, and that’s totally fine if you want to do that. But getting into a toxic cycle and wasting time and energy from drinking is not.
Even if it’s not alcohol, ask yourself what your vice could be. Maybe you don’t even realize it.
It could be playing video games like a dork for 5 hours straight when you could’ve been putting that time towards making money.
Or it could be smoking too much and justifying it with “it’s not as bad as drinking”. Bro, it turns you into a couch potato, and potatoes don’t make money.
Either way, you’ve got SOMETHING that you could either remove or reduce in your life that will optimize how much money you make. Take a good hard look at anything that could be holding you back and just get rid of it.
That’s how I ended up building several million dollar businesses over the years. And if you want to do the same, that’s what it takes. Full optimization in every area to make as much money in as little time as possible.
And that’s also what I teach my personal trainer students. I teach them how to optimize their time and schedules to train twice as many personal training clients in half the amount of time by focusing on results based training.
Now ask yourself, “what can I quit right now that will allow me more time to make money”?
